Description: Hope Act Love is a gallery show initiated by Amy Sinclair, and conducted by a group of artist friends. I was immediately drawn to the project because of themes of compassion, process, and collaboration. A majority of the artwork is created in the gallery space (bringing the studio into the public space of the gallery). This approach results in an amazing creative energy where the artists, audience, and the work is informed continually.

The web design and specifically the Conduit project benefited from this approach. The white pedestal design ensures primary focus on the artwork. Subtile design components are drawn from the artwork in the gallery including the promotional poster/postcard/fliers and the Unraveled Emotions project. Ideally this leads to a consistent message and identity for the show.

A successful pursuit, in this case benefit for Japan, requires the right incentives. Hope Act Love should embody a sustainable response. So that I can support this pursuit I have started a little competition between the full–sized site and the mobile site. To this end we will utilize analytics to measure success and by promoting both versions of the website increase awareness of our efforts via the web.
